FAQ

Everything you need to know about Draw My Balls

Getting Started

Draw My Balls is a predict-to-earn game for the FIFA World Cup 2026 draw. You predict which 48 teams will be assigned to which of the 12 groups (A-L), and earn rewards based on how accurate your prediction is. Predictions are made by purchasing tickets using $BALLZ, a Solana token launched on pump.fun with a fixed supply of 1 billion tokens.

The Draw Process

You're predicting the complete assignment of all 48 teams to the 12 World Cup groups (A through L). Each group has 4 teams, one from each "pot" (seeding tier). Your goal is to guess which teams FIFA will draw into each group.

The draw assigns 48 teams to 12 groups (A-L), with 4 teams per group. Teams are divided into 4 pots of 12 teams each based on FIFA rankings. The draw proceeds pot by pot - each pot must be completely emptied before moving to the next. Pot 1 teams are drawn first and go to Position 1 (group header). For Pots 2-4, teams are assigned following a rotating position pattern to ensure variety across groups.

Host Nations (Locked Positions)

Mexico, Canada, and USA are the tournament hosts. FIFA has pre-assigned them: Mexico to A1, Canada to B1, and USA to D1. These positions are fixed and cannot be changed in your prediction.

Confederation Rules

FIFA ensures competitive balance: no group can have more than 2 UEFA teams, and no group can have more than 1 team from any other confederation (CONMEBOL, CONCACAF, CAF, AFC, OFC). The app enforces these rules automatically.

For full details, see the official FIFA Draw Procedures document.

Not at all! There's a "Randomize" button that instantly fills all 48 positions across the 12 groups with a valid prediction that respects all FIFA rules (host positions, confederation limits, pot assignments). Once randomized, you can still make adjustments to any team placement in the interface if you want to customize your prediction.

Scoring & Prizes

Your prize comes from a shared prize pool funded by all ticket purchases (95% of each ticket goes to the pool). After the official FIFA draw, each ticket receives a score based on prediction accuracy. Your share of the prize pool equals your score divided by the total of all scores - higher score means bigger payout!

Scoring System

Base Points

+1 point for each team correctly placed in its group. Pot 1 teams (group headers) are worth +2 points instead. Host nations (Mexico, Canada, USA) don't count since their positions are already known.

Group Bonus

Bonus points for multiple correct teams in the same group: +2 for 2 correct, +4 for 3 correct, +8 for all 4 correct.

Streak Bonus

Within each pot, consecutive correct predictions earn exponential bonuses. A streak of 2 = +2 points, 3 = +4 points, 4 = +8 points, and so on (2^(streak-1)). A perfect 12-team streak in one pot = +2048 points!

Claiming Your Prize

After the official FIFA World Cup 2026 draw, claiming will be enabled on-chain. You'll be able to claim your $BALLZ winnings based on your score directly from the Tickets page.

What if I score zero points?

Scoring zero points is actually impressive - you'd have to get every single prediction wrong! If you manage this legendary feat of anti-luck, you won't receive from the prize pool, but you'll be eligible for the Creator Rewards distribution from our pump.fun livestream. Sometimes losing spectacularly has its perks!

Tickets & Payments

The ticket price is set in $BALLZ tokens and can be adjusted on-chain by the project. The price adjusts based on market conditions to keep things fair - if $BALLZ price increases, the ticket cost in tokens will decrease so that later buyers don't pay significantly more than early participants. Check the current price on the Play page before buying.

Yes! You can buy as many tickets as you want, each with a different prediction. More tickets means more chances to have a high-scoring prediction. Each ticket is scored independently.

95% of your ticket payment goes directly to the prize pool (vault). The remaining 5% goes to the project treasury for development and operations. The prize pool is distributed to winners after the draw. Additionally, the developer may occasionally transfer extra $BALLZ directly to the vault to boost the prize pool!

Livestream & Community

Yes! The project livestreams on pump.fun to share real-time statistics including current participants, prize pool size, and other updates. The livestream also collects Creator Rewards which will be distributed to participants who score zero points - because even spectacular failure deserves recognition!

Technical & Security

All predictions are recorded on the Solana blockchain as immutable transaction logs. Prize claims use Merkle proofs to ensure only the ticket owner can claim their prize. This makes the entire system transparent and verifiable.

The ONLY official website is drawmyballs.fun. Any other domain asking you to connect your wallet to place predictions is definitely a scam. Always verify you're on the correct URL before connecting your wallet.
